A SOLUTION

MY NAME IS Milo Bryant, the founder and head coach at the Coalition for Launching Active Youth. C.L.A.Y. is a solution to a couple of problems our world society faces. The Eradication of Obesity and the Saving Young Athletes. Those two problems have driven every business decision I have made since 2006 and making the decision to leave the sports journalism world and enter the fitness and health realm in full force.

Eradication of Obesity and Saving Young Athletes are the goals, but we are going to help create some phenomenal athletes along the way!

Folks, the world has a serious problem with physical inactivity. It has an even bigger problem with proper movement. The issues lead to a human populace that is getting more and more obese and is experiencing an increasing amount of non-contact musculoskeletal anomalies.

  • Worldwide obesity has more than doubled since 1980.

  • In 2014, more than 1.9 billion adults, 18 years and older, were overweight. Of these over 600 million were obese.

  • 39% of adults aged 18 years and over were overweight in 2014, and 13% were obese.

  • Most of the world's population live in countries where overweight and obesity kills more people than underweight.

  •  41 million children under the age of 5 were overweight or obese in 2014.

  • Almost 50% of the adults in the United States do not meet the extremely loose requirements for physical activity - which is physical activity or exercise during the previous 30 days - outside of the regular job.

The statistics could continue. If you want to see more check out the World Health Organization’s fact sheets here and here. Then check out information from the Centers for Disease Control here and here and here and those sites could continue, too.
